I finally got my tracking number from Fairyland, and she’s on her way home 🙂
I need to finish the second puki wig. I’ve seen a couple of owner photos of tan ruby lately, and she looks stunning. I can’t wait to open mine 🙂 I still have no idea what to do with her faceup though. The only tan I’ve ever worked on was a monster high doll, so I really don’t have any experience.
In other news, Chloe is settling in well, and I glued in her eyelashes yesterday. I’ve also ordered her a pink wig, but I’m toying with the idea of ordering some hair and making her a wig myself. I don’t have enough mohair laying around to make a wig that big, I think. She looks awesome in red-ish browns and warm blondes, so I’d love to get something like that.
I also gave Kira some time yesterday, I took her apart and cleaned her a bit, and gave her new strings. She was getting really floppy, so it was about time. I had some string that I ordered from CoolCat way back, I have no idea if the quality is good or not, I guess time will tell! It’s also amazing how dirty a doll can get, even when she’s in clothes all the time 😛
That’s all for now, I’ll have my tan girl some time next week and I just can’t wait! 😀
