Caroline got my baby yesterday, so at least she arrived safely 🙂 I’m so happy, I absolutely hate shipping dolls/parts around, even if I’ve never lost a package yet.
I’m so excited, I just can’t wait to see what Caroline does with her, and now that she is safely with her I can relax finally. I miss her more than I thought I would actually, lol ^^ I even dressed her body in comfy clothes for some reason 😛 If I only had one doll and the face was off for a face-up I’d probably be playing around with the headless body.
I do have some more news, sort of. I didn’t mention it yet, because I still need a few things, but I bought myself a dremel a while back. I want to get serious about modding. And when I was talking about past dolls that I’d like to get back one day, it’s mainly because some of the features bothered me, and I’d like to mod them.
What I want to do is:
Get a MNF Shushu again, but with a sleeping head. I plan on modding the nose, lips, and opening the eyes slightly, and try to add eyelid crease (or maybe just paint it on)
Get LTF Luna gain, also with sleeping head and open the eyes to dreamy (I’ve wanted to do this for so long and when I saw Icantdance’s flickr of her modded Luna I was certain this would be right for me)
Get MNF Chloe again. I’m not sure what mods I’d do, if any, but I’d like the sleeping head to sort of test some things on. I’d like to widen her nosebridge, because that is insanely thin!
I’d also love to get a MNF Rheia and mod, but she isn’t as high on my list as shushu and Luna.
After I got a bit better at face-ups I started being more brave, and seing possibilities in dolls that I didn’t even consider before. My biggest issue is that these are expensive things, and I’d probably cry if I managed to break something :/
