I was intending to take some pictures of her today, but the day completely disappeared on me! Seriously, where did it go?
I’m struggling choosing between her bunny legs and human legs, they are both adorable 🙂 Luckily with the new system, it’s so easy to change. And I’m so happy that some knitted sweaters my mom made for my petite modigli back in the day actually fits her pretty nicely, and even looks so cute when she’s in her bunny legs 🙂
Since I dont have photos to show, I want to mention a little project I’ll be testing out. As I’ve mentioned so many times before, I really want to try some more wig-making. But the price of alpaca hair is just too high for me, I dont feel good enough to keep buying it to make half decent wigs. I’d also like to try and dye some hair eventually, and I just know I’ll mess up a little. So I’ve been looking for alternatives. It turns out that some fibers are made from plants, go figure! Cruelty free <3 I bet it’s not as amazing as alpaca, but it should be good enough for learning and testing.
I came across a nice blog that talks a little about the alternatives, check it out here. I already ordered some fibers from this list, and I’ll let you know what I think when I have it. The fibers are white, and the seller said it takes dye easily, so that should be awesome. And for a fraction of the price of alpaca 🙂 I can order a nice quantity without worrying about customs too. I contacted the seller before making my purchase and the reply was quick, if I’m happy with everything I’ll leave a mini review of both the shop and the fibers 🙂
Just some rambles about my new realfee:
She reminds me SO much of spring, I know it’s a clichè but that cant be helped. The fullset is so flowery and light, and the faceup gives me that spring feeling as well. I almost feel Fairyland released these dolls at the wrong time, because getting her in fall feels so off. Oh, and I’m not really a big fan of the transparent wings. I dont get it, almost invisible wings. If I ever get that airbrush, I will make them pink and white to match the whole outfit I think 🙂 They do have some nice details on them, by the magnet. There are pretty roses and stuff, so they may be too much of a challenge for me to paint in any case.
Although I’m not a fan of the face of the soon-to-be released realfee, I do love her pink mermaid tail. I wish Fairyland would release just the legs for upcoming projects. I’d love cat feet (and ears!), but I’m not sure if I should take on more dolls at the moment.
I haven’t tried the pukifee connector yet, mostly because I cant stop playing with Story, I dont want to take her apart 😛

Look at that gigantic Soso. I can’t get over it, I feel like the RLF one is pushing the boundary already, and then this huge weird thing popped up in the box. There is also something different with the lower lip on the LTF one that I dont like, like he is sucking the middle part of the lip in. Cant wait to hear what Fairyland has to say when the CS board opens again.
