A dress

I decided to try and make Lünn a dress today, working directly with fabric instead of trying to make a pattern first. I whipped one quickly together and it turned out pretty good, some faults here and there but that is to be expected 🙂
I hope I can take some photos tomorrow before work, and I’ve already started on a second dress for her. I always struggle so much with darts, and she needs them if I want a nice fitting bodice.
I made the dress in pink fabric with red dots, and while it was cute it isn’t quite her style I think 🙂 I get these ideas in my head of fun stuff I’d love to do with the dress, but I don’t know how. Like balloon-type skirt or wrinkled in the sides, if that makes any sense. We’ll see though, if I can get the basics down for making a simple dress by draping, maybe I can move on and be more adventurous later.
It sure was fun to play with Lünn again though 🙂 I think she had a nice time too, not giving me too much trouble 😉 (as I wrote in a past post, she didn’t seem to like being dressed, so I was expecting death stares, lol)
