My poor new girl.. I don’t know what to do..
I was getting ready to start her faceup, when I noticed a small spot of MSC on her nose. I started the cleaning process all over, but to my dismay it was still there afterwards.. It turns out, it’s a dent 🙁
I have no idea if it’s because of a fall, or if she has had a resin bubble that FL “ignored” when they shipped her out to her first owner.. I doubt any faceup magic will make it disappear..
If it’s not a dent from a fall then boiling wont do any good, and I’m too scared to do that anyway, and sanding on such a small nose isn’t something I want to do… I’m going to try and give her a faceup anyway, see how it looks, and worst case I’ll try sanding, and if I’m not happy after all that I’ll just have to go hunting for a new faceplate..
I have decided to never do a trade ever again, and I’m starting to think I wont adopt on the secondhand market ever again either. I’ve gotten too many dirty dolls with “hidden” flaws.. I’m not blaming the lady I traded with on this because it is hard to notice, but it just doesn’t matter any more. I may have to wait longer from a company, and even fight with them sometimes, but it usually works out in the end and I feel like I have more of a say in the matter when it’s new from company..
I’ll post pictures soon, right now I’m just too bummed..
