Leeeeeke!

Yaaay my package is heeeeere 😀
They had tried to deliver it earlier actually, but I wasn’t expecting it until tomorrow and our doorbell still doesn’t work so I had to wait and pick it up at the postoffice.

64 freakin pastels, a new brush, eyelashes and pearl paint! 😀

In the last photo, from the left to right, evecream 6-7, evecream 6-7, pink-somethingorother 6-7, goldenrod 7-8 (for Chloe!) aaand another goldenrod 6-7.

I ordered this for Story, so of course Alva ended up in it

This wig is way too high maintenance for me, and none of the girls really look good in it, but I'll keep it for photos anyway 😀

All I know right now is, I’ll be back ordering from Leeke very soon. I’m so happy right now I keep thinking something bad has got to happen soon, it can’t be legal to be this happy!
Edit: I forgot to mention, most of the 6-7 wigs are a bit big on my LTF girls. They fit great on Lusis though, and my Pipos girls (who’ll be gone soon).

Luna love

My head is a little better, so I wanted to share these. Luna was keeping me company all day, while I was struggling with my migraine.

I know my Luna has the default face-up, but I still think she is the prettiest Luna out there ;D

And also, I just had to take a photo, I decided to try different eyes for Claudia and Alice the other day, and I’ve never, ever seen two dolls look so completely lost and confused, lol ^^ Safe to say I had to switch back to their blue ones right after this:

While I was writing this, one of the bobby pins in my hair fell out and I completely freaked because I thought it was a spider.

Failed dress, but still okay!

I wanted to make a dress for Alva. Turns out that fabric was horrible to sew with, and while I wanted it to be foofy it turned out Waaaay too foofy 😛
To save the dress, I added a ribbon around her waist. Now the dress actually looks sort of beautiful, and Alva isn’t complaining, thats for sure 😉

Oh, I also upgraded my Flickr account to pro. I really didn’t want only my latest 200 photos to show, and since I actually use Flickr very often and love it so much, I might as well pay 😛

I really like Flickr. At first I didn’t use it for much, but it really is a community! People started adding me and fav’ing my photos, and I started doing the same, and I’ve met some lovely people that way! $25 for one year is absolutely fair for all that 😉

Today I learned

It usually takes me about a years time to be sure if a doll will stay with me, and that’s the time it usually takes me to really get to know the dolls personality.
Today I learned something new about Alice and Claudia. Claudia doesn’t really play well with others, though she does have a sort of respect for Story, possibly because Story was here before Claudia was. Anyway, the only girl Claudia seems to really like is Alice. Alice doesn’t really notice much else when Claudia is around.
But today I had a realization. I had all my LTF girls on my bed, and figured Claudia and Alice should get some air too! So I picked up Alice first, placing her with Luna. I swear the air in the room changed. It was like they connected somehow. When I placed Claudia down with them, all of Alice’s new interest disappeared and those two were like one.
This is why I have decided to have Alice out with only the LTF girls more often. Claudia may open up to playing with others in the future, but for now she only seems happy when she is with me or Alice.

This photo doesn’t really show their newfound connection, if anything Alice seems like some sort of evil queen from a fairytale, but it was still an awesome photo so I wanted to share ;P
