New page

I removed my tools and materials page, and added a “closet” page.
I’m going to use it mostly to keep track of the shoes I have (and it’ll help anyone who might want to buy dolly shoes for me for christmas and birthdays and so on) but I may add some clothes in the future too.
I tried out some stamps yesterday, and tried to color them in a bit too:

I’m feeling a bit bad for Luna though. Hopefully when human Ante comes home, she’ll feel better 🙂 Speaking of, she’s on her way to Oslo again, I’m still confused about why she went through Germany 😛 But as long as she is on her way..

I figured, why stop sewing now! I had this t-shirt pattern I made for my LTF, but it still needed a LOT of work. It was too wide and too short. I also wanted to adapt the sleeves, so it could be made into a tee, a tank top and a sweater. I tested the tank top idea first, made with leftover fabric from a sweater, I made it kind of fast so the stitches aren’t perfect, but it’s absolutely wearable.

Someone feels pretty, and a bit shy

It might be a little tight to wear with pants, I could always make it a bit baggier in the bottom. I think it’ll look awesome with thin tights. And once I get my other stamp pillows I’ll have more colors to play with too, I’d love to add some pink stamps for her future outfits 😀 I’m also considering adding a skirt to this pattern, I think it would look adorable 😀
But I think I’m all pattern’d out today 😛

The sweater pattern is a pattern I was working on all summer. I’m still not 100% satisfied, especially with the fit around her armpits, but the sweaters still turn out beautiful I think. The white sweater with hearts on it was made from a children’s sweater I bought on sale, the print is small and makes a perfect dolly sweater ^^
I want to make a pattern like this for my LTF girl too, and work on other variations of the off shoulder style later. I may also work harder to perfect this pattern 😛

Let the stamping begin!

I bought some ink pads for fabric today, and the stamps they had weren’t as expensive as I had thought, so I bought a couple!
The brown ink I got wasn’t a pretty brown though :/ So I’ll be using the black one mostly.

Unoa sewing!

I got a Dolly Dolly book I had ordered today!
I decided to try a pattern for Lusis, I wanted to try something simple first to make sure that I understand the patterns well enough. I did take care sewing though, and finally got to try my stretch needles! It was sooo much better sewing on stretchy fabric with them. Not perfect, but I’d say 60% easier.
I just tried the t-shirt pattern, it comes with several suggestions so you can make it into a sweater or cute dress, but I tried the simplest kind first^^

She is very happy, this girl loves new clothes 😛

I messed up a bit here and there, and I’m not thrilled with the fit around her neck, but this shirt has SO many possibilites. I want to try stamps, adding buttons or other decorations, making sweaters and adding a skirt to it, and much more! But it’s always a good idea to have a few basic items laying around too, so this one will stay like this I think 🙂
I was lazy, so I just added velcro in the back as fastening. It works fine, but can be annoying when it snags the wigs 😛
I feel happy, it’s been too long since I made something and actually finished it!
