I’m so excited to see what they’ll do for this release!
From the teaser photos it looks like they are releasing a doll they sold ages ago, I don’t remember the name, but I know I’ve seen some around the interwebz. It’s from when MSD Alice was released under the name Budle I think. I don’t have many facts since I wasn’t really around back then, is it 5 years ago? I think I saw its for their 5 year anniversary.
If Pipos release Mari as Dorothy, I’ll be in so much trouble 😛
I don’t have much else to report, I’m still not feeling well but at least I dragged my butt to work today. Hopefully I’ll feel even better tomorrow.

I don’t know why I even bother 😛 I purchased more eyes from the seller I bought from last time, where the photo was of a bright pink and I got dark purple 😛

Now, here is my photos.. I can honestly hardly tell the difference between brown and pink:

 

 

What I DO like about these eyes, the pupils aren’t deep black in real life, I see them as sort of a reeaally dark brown, which I find beautiful and a bit softer than perfectly black ones. Both the pink and brown eyes are beautiful, even if not as advertised. The gold ones.. well, to me they are a dirty green/yellow-ish color which I absolutely hate.
Lusis ended up in her purple eyes again, and I’m trying out the brown ones on Alva. I may order the brown and pink ones in 14mm later, simply because I liked the softness of the colors.
 

Why is it so hard to find 12mm eyes? And I don’t mean acrylics, I mean glass or even urethane.
The few eyes I’ve come across haven’t been the right colors, and so few results show up on eBay searches, DoA’s eye section is just too huge to browse through (and when I find the perfect ones there, they are already sold:P )
Usually I turn to Captured in Glass, but this time I just couldn’t find any I wanted 😛
I think I’d like some vibrant pinks, and an assortment of purple hues. I guess I’ll have to keep looking 😛

I bought these superawesome eyes from eBay a while back. Now, I was prepared for the eyes to be slightly darker than the photo, because most sellers seem to lighten the photos quite a lot (and also sometimes adding contrast and saturation) but these are just nothing like what I thought I bought…

Don’t get me wrong, the eyes are beautiful.. But not what I had wanted at all.. I’m sure I’ll get over the disappointment, but I had been looking forwards to pinking out Story a bit. I’m sure I’m not the only one who has gotten eyes that were nothing like the photo, so you guys understand how I feel. I have several purple eyes now and didn’t really need another pair.
I have never given a neutral or negative feedback before, and I don’t want to start now, but I really wish people would be a bit more careful with their photos, on the page it even said “color: see picture”, they could have written that they are less pink and a bit darker than photo or something :/
