Well, I’m at a loss right now. My mint kitten along with the replacement head from my last order is home, and I just don’t know what to do. I’ll explain, on to the box opening first:

So, to summarize, the replacement ringo head looks so much better, but also does not look like my OE’s twin sister. I am unsure which one I want to keep

The mint cat I ordered was supposed to come with the 2014 faceup, that is the doll I placed in my cart and paid for. I do not dislike the limited faceup, I just really didn’t want 3 kittens with the same faceup.

The mint color? It is absolutely not mint, though it photographs close to mint. I am still kind of loving the color, I just need to adjust the plans I had for her 🙂 Oh, and I need to try more eyes on her, for some reason everything looks amazing on her!

Sooo.. Im both disappointed and happy. I need some time to think about what I’ll do with the replacement head, and I contacted Pipos about the wrong faceup. If they tell me they wont help me, I might actually wipe her and do it myself. I just wish I could get any non-msc varnish to work for me :/

Long rant, and while I’m having some feelings about all of this, I am also very happy. I’ll just be more vary of ordering faceups from Pipos in the future.

Edit on the 14th of May: Pipos will send me a new sleepy head with faceup, so my issues have been resolved now 🙂

Okay, before showing the photos I just have to say that I feel like Pipos messed this one up. The faceups are not really good, especially on my sleepy girl. The boxes and pouches they come in feel really cheap, but it could be due to everything being more expensive these days because of the pandemic.

I did also get little notes with the eyes that my kitties came with, and they were supposed to be blue green and lavender blue (my favorite eye color!), but both pairs are blue green.

My order feels rushed, and while I feel I can fix some parts of the faceup (like how they are REALLY pale), I cant move eyebrows or blushing, so I am unsure of wether I should contact Pipos about it or not.

I still haven’t gotten a refund for the combined shipping either. (Edit 12th of may, I got my refund!)

Regardless of the slight dissappointments, I am so happy to have them home, and I plan to shower them with lots and lots of love!

Im sorry the photos are very very bad, I will take new ones in the next few days 🙂 For now I just want to get to know them better, and consider writing Pipos about the sleepy faceup which will be a hard fix without removing it all. I understand that handmade faceups can come with mistakes, but I have never seen anything like this when paying a company for a limited faceup! If I had done this personally, I would have wiped and started over.

I’m so happy to have a cat again, I’ve really missed my old ones lately. I used to have a jr pi grey cheshire baby, a beige Ringo and the two sweety vanilla heads.. I really wish I still had them, but I cant change the past, so I will look forward with this little one 🙂
She needs some other eyes, none of the ones I have really suit her, I would LOVE some oscar doll eyes but I need to save a bit first.

And she is GORGEOUS!
Unfortunately, she’ll need 14mm oscar doll eyes, not 16 like I just ordered 😛 Oh well, need more eyes ^^

I just realized I actually never put up the box opening of my little pink dragon!
It’s been for ever since I got him, but box openings are always fun, so I figured I should upload it anyway 🙂

I knew beforehand that it would have been wise to paint him before putting him together, but I just could not wait 🙂 I’ll post better pictures later.

Her size is just so exciting, unfortunately I don’t have a wig or clothes that fit her at the moment, and it doesn’t seem like it will be an easy task to get hold of anything either. So this little one will be a big project for me, which I’m fine with 🙂
I do have some plans with faceup, I want to go the same route as Andreja did with hers, a rainbow faceup. I’ve collected some reference photos of real makeup, but I’m going to keep looking and see what I come up with 🙂

Honestly her face feels sooo small! I kind of hate the shape of her eyebrows to be honest, but everything else is beautiful.

I did a little swap and I gotta say I love this so much! Honestly, I’m not a fan of the fairyline body that Lexi usually has (Eva is on the Fairyline in this pic)

This was the worst fullset to actually get on a doll. It took me absolutely for ever. And, the corset gets messed up as soon as I put on the underskirt, because it’s too poofy. I also think the 14mm eyes looked big on her, so I tried these on my Cygne with some success:

Like I said, I hate Evas eyebrows, so she will most likely get a makeover in the future, but I really like her so far 🙂 I think she looks much better in real life than what I am capable of capturing in photos for some reason. And yeah, at some point I am going to sell my Fairyline body, because I strongly prefer the a-line renewal.
Anyway, wish my new girl welcome 😀

Im so happy to have this little guy (or girl) at home! It arrived 18th of January, so I am a bit late with this box opening 😛
The eye is so adorable, I chose to pay a little extra to decide which eye he would come with and I dont regret it. I hope they will open for eye-orders at some point, because I saw several others I would love to have.
I still have no idea how to paint this doll, I do love the siamese that they have pictured on their website, so I may copy that style. All I know is that I would love to own more than one of these guys, and I would really love to get the smaller cat as well as the bunny in the future 🙂 Who knew I would end up owning a cyclops doll!

Actually the body arrived a while ago, on june 7th 😛
I was dead tired, my room was really dark and I couldn’t be bothered to do a proper box opening. Since it wasn’t really the arrival of a new doll, but a new body instead, I figured it didn’t matter as much. I did use my phone to take some pictures though, but the quality is horrid. I really enjoyed sitting on my bed, opening this big box, it was so relaxing after a day at work 🙂

Oh no, a cute face!

Overall I’m very happy with the fairyline body. There are some things I’m not thrilled with, and some things I love. I may talk more in detail about it later, but I’d buy the body again if I could 🙂

True to each and every box opening I’ve had from Fairyland, there was an issue. The hands I have at home do not fit her. I used so much force I was sure I was going to break something, but they will not go on. I contacted Fairyland about it and they, as usual, asked for photos. I cant take a photo of that issue! I’d have to make a video. But I did what they asked, explained that I had used a lot of force, and we’ll see what they say. I even tried carving the inside of the hands to no avail.

I hope I can share some better photos in the future, and I’ll be keeping all heads (Chloe and event pukifee head) for now 🙂 The Moe line body will probably be sold at some point, I just prefer the longer legs!
