Face-up, soon finished

So I mentioned I was doing a commission earlier, and I think she’s nearly done 🙂
I’m waiting to hear back from her owner, and if she doesn’t want more changes then I’ll just need to coat her a few times and add gloss 🙂

nDoll, another update

My tracking number is WORKING!
I see some have already gotten their packages, and others have working tracking like me.
But as I feared, someone got their package missing 3 wigs.. I really hope my package will have all the things I ordered :/
 
Can you see the sparkles I added in her eyes? Both her and Clawdeen got a bunch of glitter in their eyes, to make them sparkle, but it doesn’t really show in photos:

Abbey

I finally finished Abbey’s face.

I have to admit I’m not as happy with her face as I am with Draculaura’s, but somehow.. even if I don’t really like the head mold of Abbey.. she has become dear to me. I feel like I have some sort of ugly duckling love for her 😛 She is absolutely more cartoon-ish with her huge eyes, and she has quite the underbite, and I love her 😛

The making of twins

I got two Minifee Carl heads to do face-ups on, and this is how they got faces:



After this point the owner requested that I tried to make the eyebrows less curved, which I’m really happy about since I have this awful habit of making eyebrows like that and I don’t even like it 😛 So I got to try my hand at different eyebrows:

After this I noticed some WEIRD flaking under and around both noses, and upon further investigation I noticed that it seemed like the MSC wouldn’t dry in that spot. it flaked while I was watching, so naturally I removed both face-ups and redid them as close to the first try as possible.
Sometimes its good to do something twice, and I really think they turned out better the second time around:

Next up was adding beauty marks, I didn’t want to overdo it, as it is easier to add more than to take away 😛

 
All that is left is to do the final coats of MSC, then add some gloss 🙂 I’ll post photos when they are completely finished of course!

Faceup Stories

I just wanted to write a little about the videos that Andreja from Nicolles Dreams have posted.
Here is the link to her channel on youtube.
First off, Andreja is one of my all time favorite face-up artists, and her doing these tutorial videos and answering questions people may have, it’s fantastic. Many artists keep their “secrets” to them selves, I guess in fear of loosing business or maybe because they feel that if they had to learn on their own then so should others.
I used to be like the last kind, never sharing any secrets, if I have spent AGES learning something myself then I wouldn’t teach it to others. That all changed at one of the schools I went to. I quickly learned that by sharing with others, they would share with me too, making us better than we could be alone. Of course, a few people did take advantage of me, calling or texting me to teach them something and never gave back, but some people are like that.
And now people are actually complaining about the music Andreja has chosen for her videos. Seriously. She spent hours and hours making and editing the video, doing it all for free, in her free time, just to be nice, and people are complaining. I don’t understand that at ALL. How hard is it to mute the video and put on your own music? There will always be people that are never satisfied.
I’m incredibly thankful to her for making the videos, I subscribed and will continue to follow her work for as long as she’ll make the videos and post photos online. For those who have never made videos before, it isn’t done in 5 minutes. About music choices, a lot of stuff is copyrighted, you can’t just use whatever you like, and honestly in these videos the music isn’t important at ALL.
Be grateful that an artist as known and talented as Andreja is willing to share anything at all with us! I know I am <3
